Chordiant Education: Certification Programs

Chordiant's certification programs have been established to attest that individuals have the appropriate skills and body of knowledge to be a primary contributor for a successful Chordiant implementation and roll-out.

In addition to previous experience reviews, a rigorous assessment process based on hands-on exercises deliverables, sandpit deliverables, a project presentation, and certification exams, helps certify that individuals have the range of skills, experience and background to embrace Chordiant projects.

To be eligible for certification, candidates must successfully:

  • Complete the applicable course
  • Complete the corresponding sandpit (Business Analyst, Technical Developer and Chordiant Decision Management (CDM) for Technical Consultants courses)
  • Achieve a grade of 80% or higher in the corresponding exam

    • The Chordiant Certified Business Analyst is able to:

    • Effectively support a Chordiant analysis project
    • Produce analysis and functional design deliverables
    • Identify and write use cases to meet requirement definitions
    • Create business class models
    • Perform gap analysis against the Chordiant business class model
    • Customize contact history
    • Specify conceptual workflows using Chordiant's business process automation

    The Chordiant Certified Recommendation Advisor Consultant is able to:

    • Understand the Chordiant vision for customer experience management and next best action
    • Ask the right questions to design a real time strategy for Recommendation Advisor
    • Translate strategy into requirements and implement into Decision Logic
    • Create and implement decision logic for sales (Next-Best-Offer™ for products and product groups/bundles), retention (bundle negotiator), service (call reasons), other categories, customer profiles and alerts, question & answers
    • Understand the tools throughout the Chordiant Decision Management suite for designing, deploying and monitoring customer strategies, including: Strategy Director, Decision Planner, Deployment Manager, Proposition Monitoring, Recommendation Advisor, Database Decisioning and Interaction Services

    The Chordiant Certified Strategy Director Consultant is able to:

    • Understand the role of the various Decision Management components
    • Utilize Decision Logic design and development principles
    • Use Decision Planner to create and manage Decisioning Projects
    • Use Decision Planner to facilitate resource collaboration and sharing
    • Select input data for Decision Logic
    • Understand the role and functionality of each Strategy Director component
    • Build Decision Logic to support various business strategies (sales, service, retention, risk)
    • Perform Interactive, unit and database testing of Decision Logic
    • Publish Decision Logic
    • Understand the Decision Logic deployment, delivery and monitoring functions

    The Chordiant Certified Systems Administrator is able to:

    • Use Chordiant Development Environment and Tools
    • Undertake Chordiant Installation and Configuration tasks

    The Chordiant Certified Technical Decisioning Consultant is able to:

    • Understand the Chordiant Decision Management software suite and describe features and functions of the components
    • Perform installation and configuration of core and optional Decision Management components including Deployment Manager, Real-Time Decisioning Services, Interaction Services, Adaptive Decisioning Services, Decision Planner and Strategy Director
    • Use Decision Planner to create and manage Decisioning Projects
    • Construct and test Decision Logic using Strategy Director
    • Publish Decision Logic using Decision Planner
    • Deploy and test Decision Logic using Deployment Manager
    • Use Deployment Manager for general Decision Management administration
